Writing Interests and Experience

I have enjoyed writing for as long as I can remember. There is never a lack for something to write about. Please read my writing interests below and contact me if you think I can be of service to you. Please keep in mind that I prefer to write for and about women and I will not write anything vulgar or obscene.

Writing Experience

• Published e-book Women Making Time for God in October 2014.
• Wrote "Quick Tips" articles for Creative Times Magazine from July 2008 through December 2012
• I also interviewed and wrote feature articles about fabric designer Debbie Mumm, doll designer Susan Lilly and others during that time for the magazine.
• I was the fill-in writer if any of the other writers failed to submit their articles.
• I began blogging in 2007.
• I began writing instructions for craft patterns in 2005.
• All essays I have written for myself and others have received As.

Other Experience

Pattern Mart.com and Instant Printables.com from July 2007 through current

•  Prepare and email weekly and bi-weekly newsletters for these websites.

Creative Times Magazine duties from July 2007 through January 2013

• I was in charge of making sure the other writers met their deadlines for each issue.
• I proofread all the articles before forwarding them to the layout designer.
• I proofread the entire magazine before it was made available for download.
• I compiled all the ad submissions, free pattern offers, articles, and other random submissions for each issue.
• I would email all submissions in a categorized fashion to the editor-in-chief and layout designer a month ahead of each issue.
• I was in charge of requesting free patterns and getting any other additional information from advertisers.
• I canvased for, interviewed and hired all the writers for the magazine.
